Dealing with the death of a loved one or a major loss in your life is tough.
Grief happens when someone or something important has been taken away from us. We don't want it to happen. It wasn't our choice and we can't go back to the life we had before the loss.
This usually triggers what is known as the Grief Cycle, an emotional process of dealing with the loss. There are 5 typical phases in the Grief Cycle, including shock, denial, confusion (including a mixture of anger, sadness, happiness, depression), adjustment, and acceptance.
